Brida joined the university in 2018, having previously been active at the University of Konstanz in Germany. With the grant, he will be able to expand his research team and set up a new laboratory. His project, titled "Ultrafast tunneling microscopy by optical field control of quantum currents – UpTEMPO", examines the inner functioning of matter.
