Luxembourg police have transferred two individuals, a 42-year-old German and a 24-year-old Croatian, to the Trier federal police, responding to European arrest warrants against them.
The German citizen was the subject of an arrest warrant issued by the Saarbrücken public prosecutor's office. The charges against him include threats, public incitement to commit crimes, incitement to hatred, and the use of symbols associated with unconstitutional organisations. Following Luxembourg's handover of the individual to German authorities, a judge directed his transfer to Saarbrücken prison.
The 24-year-old Croatian, wanted by Saarbrücken authorities, is linked to a burglary in a flat near Saarlouis in December 2022. The charges against him involve the theft of a wallet, various coins, and three gold rings adorned with pearls and diamonds valued at €35,000.
Both suspects were handed over to German police at the "Wasserbilligerbrück" border crossing.
