Water Administration issues warning on continued flooding risk in Luxembourg.

The rainfall over the past few days will continue to raise river levels. In Luxembourg, they will continue to rise until Sunday afternoon according to the Water Administration.

Notably, the Moselle reached its vigilance level of 5.30m in Stadtbredimus this Saturday at 3PM. Despite continuous measures, a rise in river levels is expected "until Sunday afternoon" ranging between 560 and 580 cm in Stadtbredimus.

According to the administration, it is unlikely that the Moselle will reach its pre-alert river level. There is no reason to worry about the Alzette or the Sauer rivers as they are well below their vigilance threshold.

The authorities will, however, monitor any changes in water levels for the next hours: any forecasts "beyond the weekend remain uncertain."
