After a number of flight cancellations at Findel airport on Sunday, Luxair has released a statement explaining what went wrong.
Between delays and cancellations travellers to and from Findel airport experienced quite a few difficulties over the weekend. Multiple flights connecting the Grand Duchy with Budapest, Nice, Hamburg and Madrid were cancelled.
On Monday the company had some explanations. The statement explained that "some flights had to be cancelled because of non-preventable technical incidents, such as a bird strike."
On the other hand, the flights LG8243 from Luxembourg to Nice and LG3837/38 connecting Luxembourg and Madrid had to be cancelled "because of a personnel shortage at German Airways."
