Authorities apprehended two individuals on Thursday following an audacious attempt to steal a suitcase at Luxembourg City's central railway station.

The incident occurred in the bustling afternoon hours, as the victim, a woman awaiting her train, fell prey to the pair who swiftly seized her suitcase. Capitalising on the bustling environment and the woman's diverted attention, the suspects attempted to stage a quick exit from the platform.

The victim was able to provide a detailed description of the suspects, enabling the police to swiftly launch a search operation. In the end, both perpetrators were apprehended, the stolen suitcase was successfully recovered, and the two men were placed under arrest.
