The 27-hectare housing construction project in Kehlen saw its first residents move in recently.

In 2018, construction began on the Elmen project, which envisaged 800 homes for 3,000 residents. The area will slowly take shape over the next decade or so to create a whole new district in the municipality of Kehlen - a village within a village.

800 homes are being built across the 27-hectare site, with 75% to be put on the market for sale. The remainder will be rented out.
