Following the deadly fire in an apartment building in Kayl on Tuesday, people have started showing their solidarity by donating money to the victims.
Since the fire left ten people injured and one six-year-old boy dead, the municipality of Kayl/Tétange has set up a website through which people can donate to the victims of the tragic event.
Six families used to live in the apartment building on Rue du Commerce, all of whom rented. The municipality of Esch-sur-Alzette has already taken in 23 people.
On Wednesday, two people were still left in the hospital, according to reports from newspaper Quotidien: a man who suffered severe burns and a child. They are both related to the boy who succumbed to his injuries from the fire.
