At around 6pm on Wednesday, the police were called to Rue de Bonnevoie because a drunk person was attacking a car.

On arrival, the police were confronted with a man who was indeed very drunk and aggressive. In addition to attacking the car, he had also attacked the driver. While the officers checked his papers, the man became increasingly aggressive, insulting the police officers and passers-by.

As the man posed a threat to himself and to others, the officers decided to take him to the police station. He violently rebelled against this decision and tried to injure the officers and himself. He was eventually taken to hospital for a check-up.

The man was fined for damaging a vehicle as well as assault and battery. A complaint was filed against him for rebellion against police officers.
