It was forecast and it is coming: a cold snap is about to sweep through Luxembourg at the beginning of December.

A cold snap is coming, and residents will begin to feel its effects on Thursday. Météolux forecasts lows ranging between 0 and 4°C at the end of the week, with temperatures falling to 0°C on Sunday.

The Findel weather station forecasts temperatures between -1 and 1°C in the morning and 1 to 3°C in the afternoon. In other words, if you plan to take advantage of the many Christmas markets in the Grand Duchy, remember to layer up with jackets, gloves, and hats to keep warm.

We will, however, get some sunshine on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. There will also be no rain and only a light breeze.

It should also be noted that winter tyres are mandatory in winter conditions.
