Despite this assertion, 2021 presented a mixed bag of results in terms of finance.

Bankruptcies in the hospitality sector fell significantly by a third compared to the previous year. However, in 2021, 2,527 jobs were lost due to bankruptcy, 50% more than in 2020. The sectors affected the most are non-financial services, construction and commerce.

In 2021, 1,016 liquidations were reported, which is 5% more than in 2020.
