Authorities detained several people after discovering prohibited substances at the end of last year.

In two cases, dogs from the Anti-Drug and Sensitive Substances Unit managed to make the discovery.

In mid November, customs officials seized one kilo of cocaine from a messenger making his way to Germany from the Netherlands. Sniffer dog "Balto" was successful during a check in December and helped identify a drug dealer on a train destined for Luxembourg. The man carried 29 cocaine packages at the time.

In both cases, the prohibited substances were seized by order of the prosecutor's office. The drug messenger was arrested and presented to an examining magistrate.
