Yesterday, the State Council met ahead of the EU and NATO summits in Brussels on Thursday and Friday.

Aside from updates on the national coronavirus situation, the State Council discussed two pertinent issues on Wednesday. The first one was a set of measures to counteract drug crime in Luxembourg. Ministers Asselborn, Kox, Lenert, Meisch, and Tanson are scheduled to present the respective catalogue on Friday.

The second issue was the National Plan for the Organisation of the Emergency Services (PNOS), presented by Minister for Home Affairs Taina Bofferding. The State Council approved the plan, which enlists the most significant dangers for the Luxembourgish population.
