Following a police control in Luxembourg City, officers apprehended a person in possession of a few dozen pellets of cocaine as well as a large amount of cash.
On Monday afternoon, a police patrol noticed a group of people on Place de la Constitution visibly trying to separate and flee the scene. After the officers located the group, it turned out that two of them were unable to present valid IDs.
The officers asked both individuals to accompany them to the police station in order to verify their identities. At the station, the police found that one of them was carrying 35 cocaine pellets and a large amount of cash. The public prosecutor's office ordered the seizure of the drugs and the cash.
The presumed drug dealer was arrested and will be presented to an examining magistrate on Tuesday.
