There has been some confusion as to which tests are recognised by organisers to attend events with over 150 guests. The Ministry of Health clarified matters on Monday.

People attending events with over 150 participants will have to get themselves tested in advance. The following options are permitted:

  • Submit a negative PCR test result carried out within 72 hours of the start of the event.

  • Present the negative result of a test or self-test certified by a person authorised for this purpose under the Covid-19 law. The test must be performed within 24 hours of the start of the event. (This test can be completed at pharmacies, for example.)

  • Carry out a self-test on site, and under the supervision of the organiser, the result of which must be negative.

Thus, self-tests without the supervision of an authorised person are not accepted at events.
