SLG and Voyages Emile Weber have decided to create a new joint department for their travelling operations.
Travel Group Luxembourg will unite 34 different branch offices with more than 130 employees. Voyages Emile Weber and Sales-Lentz Group decided to join forces to better respond to the demands of the ever-changing sector. Furthermore, the travel agencies concluded that this move will help them to counter growing online competition.
Marc Sales from SLG annnounced: "Thanks to our historic strength and the daily trust of our loyal clients, we were able to stay operative throughout the pandemic despite massive losses in turnover."
Fernand Heinisch from Voyages Emile Weber also commented on the launch of the new agency: "I am looking forward to the journey together. We unite as Luxembourgish companies with a rich tradition and a shared enthusiasm for innovation."
Apart from the traditional forms of personal consultation, the new travel agency is set to focus on providing extensive virtual and mobile offerings.
