On Saturday, people brought countless donations in form of winter clothes for refugees in Bosnia to a former ARBED site in Dudelange.
Last week's call for donations thus turned out to be fruitful. Only a few hours into the day, bags full of warm clothes, blankets, and shoes started to stack up at the Hall Fondoucq in Dudelange. The collection is destined for refugees in Sarajevo, Bosnia, where recently a staggering 6,000 people needed to relocate. Dudelange city officials therefore joined forces with "Catch a Smile" to support their initiative.
The donations are now destined for Sarajevo. If need be, lorry drivers will make several trips to the Bosnian capital to assure that every piece arrives at its destination.
