Luxembourg Prime Minister Xavier Bettel met his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi for an online summit on Thursday 19 November.
This represented the first bilateral summit meeting between the two countries in two decades.
The leaders, who have previously met three times, signed three bilateral agreements focused on improving financial cooperation between the Luxembourg Stock Exchange and both the India International Stock Exchange.
Both countries recognised the importance of a free trade agreement between the EU and India, which is currently being negotiated. They also discussed how Luxembourg and India could work together in the post-COVID world.
The Times of India additionally reports that Bettel expressed his wish to visit India and invited Modi to Luxembourg.
