While patrolling bars and restaurants for possible infringements, police identified three establishments in Bettembourg, Duddelange, and Kockelscheuer with prolonged opening hours.

In Bettembourg, police checked in on a bar that was still hosting clients after midnight. People quickly left after seeing the patrol car arrive, while the establishment owners will likely suffer from the consequences.

Around twenty-five people were still in a bar in Duddelange at 12.30am. Social distancing was ignored, masks not worn, and guests were served at the bar.

The last infringement was registered in a Kockelscheuer establishment, where more than 100 people had come together for a party.
