On the 30th June, 15,037 people were registered with Luxembourg's National Employment Agency (ADEM).

An additional 555 unemployed individuals constitute a hike of 3,8%, bringing the overall unemployment rate to 5,5%.

ADEM traces this back to the registration of Social Inclusion Income (REVIS) beneficials, the terms of which were changed at the beginning of 2019.

While the number of people on the dole has risen since June 2018, the number of open employment opportunities remains stable, with 3 extra positions open.

While most of these availabilities can be found in the finance sector, accounting and computer science, there also seems to be a call for workers in craft and trades.
