In the latest press release on inflation published by Statec on Wednesday, the annual inflation rate has fallen from 2.2% to 2.1% compared to the previous month.

The consumer price index rose by 0.18% in April, predominantly due to rising prices of flight tickets and holidays.

This occurred due to the peak period of the Easter break.

Fuel prices dropped by 0.3% compared to March.

Gas prices were more than 6% cheaper in April in contrast with petrol costing more than 6% more.

The cost of diesel dropped by 0.3%.
