Time to give your wardrobe a spring update? The Luxembourgish capital is launching its "Fréijoersshopping" (spring shopping) on Sunday.

Whether you're a shopaholic or fancy a browse, shops in the upper city area and in the Gare neighbourhood will be open on Sunday.

Others might just take the opportunity to wander around the capital without it being a ghost town. At any rate, don't forget your umbrella, as Meteolux has predicted rain showers for Sunday. [Note: this forecast may yet change]

If you are determined to head into Luxembourg City, whatever the weather, then there is some good news: all bus journeys on Ville de Luxembourg (the city's municipal authorities) buses will be free of charge. The tram will also be free, as will some RGTR lines.

If you are driving for the occasion, then there will be shuttle buses from the major car parks, including the Glacis, the P&R Bouillon, the Schuman car park, the P&R Howald (Lux-Sud A+B), and the Stade car park.
