Rescue services were called to a carpentry warehouse in Heiderscheid as a fire broke out just after 8am.
As the company handles a large amount of wood, the fire alarm immediately alerted CGDIS (Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps) and fire brigades were dispatched to the scene at 9am.
The origin of the fire was a wooden chalet attached to the production and storage depot. The rescue services and firefighters responded quickly, limiting the spread of the flames and avoiding greater damage.
Firefighters from Alebësch, Esch-sur-Sûre, Bourscheid, Feulen, Ettelbrück, Clervaux and Wiltz attended the incident.
