On Tuesday, the individual delegations of the Democratic Party, the Luxembourg Socialist Workers' Party and the Greens will get together to start their first round of coalition formation talks.

The negotiation agenda was set last Wednesday. Further talks are expected to take place on Thursday and Friday as well as on 14 November.

At the same time, the 11 special task forces are also set to meet. Their goal is to try and find acceptable solutions to all three potential coalition partners on topics such as public finances, the economy, the job market, the education system, housing and more. These negotiations are expected to continue until the end of November.

The negotiation leader for the Greens, Felix Braz, told RTL on Saturday that the Greens might add another woman into the government and that the ministries for housing, energy and agriculture could be set to become even greener under a new coalition government.
