Lee Michel Baseggio, a one-time candidate for the "Demokratie 2018" 'citizen's association', was sentenced by a Luxembourg City court on Thursday morning for masquerading as a psychologist.
Baseggio was sentenced to four years behind bars and a monetary fine of €3,000. In addition to this, two plaintiffs will receive €2,150 each in damages. Baseggio was convicted of forgery and fraud on Thursday but didn't show up for his trial date last month.
In 2016, he impersonated a psychologist and defrauded his clients by using fraudulent diplomas.
