Next are French woman (85.7), Italians (85.6) and finally Luxembourg women. According to the study, women have a life expectancy of a 85.4 years in Luxembourg.
Portuguese women are in 9th place in the ranking with a life expectancy of 84.3 years. Our Belgian neighbours are just below the European average life expectancy of 84.
AND FOR MEN?
The Swiss live the longest, (81.7), followed by the Italians (81). In Luxembourg, men live approximately 5 years less than women (80.1)
There is some good news: the life expectancy of Luxembourg men has been steadily increasing since the 1980s.
And the cherry on top: for both men and women, the Luxembourg average is higher than the European average. It seems it's good for you to live in Luxembourg.
