Just after 6pm, a car crash occurred between Esch-sur-Alzette and the French town of Audun-le-Tich. Four people were injured.

Ambulances from Dudelange and Esch-sur-Alzette rushed to the scene, as well as emergency services from Esch-sur-Alzette and Schifflange.

Another car crash occurred at around 8.40pm between Rambrouch and Grevels. One person was injured in the incident and an ambulance from Wiltz was at the scene, along with emergency services from Rambrouch.

Two fires also kept emergency services and fire fighters busy on Sunday evening.

A fire broke out at a home at around 8.20pm in Rollingergrund. No one was injured, but further details have not been publicised yet.

A second fire broke out at 11.30 pm on Bettembourg's Rout de Mondorf. A house had caught fire, but no one was injured and emergency services from Bettemboug managed to bring the flames under control.
