This weekend marks the final phase of the construction works on the Gasperich interchange, with traffic expected to return to normal on Monday.

From Friday evening at 8pm the A6 and A1 motorways will be closed in both directions at the Gasperich interchange. This means that the exit towards Luxembourg City's train station area and Hesperange will also be closed to those driving from Arlon (Cessange).

Those driving from Luxembourg City on the A3 motorway from France will also be unable to exit the motorway at Livange.

Detours are marked by signs and will likely lead to traffic delays. The construction works will last until Monday morning at 6am.

Those coming from Trier on the A1 and driving towards Arlon will have to follow a detour taking them onto the A3 at the Gasperich interchange. They then have to drive until the Gluck roundabout and then drive back up to rejoin the A6.

Those heading in the opposite direction, from Arlon on the A6 to Trier will also detour via the A3 until the Dudelange interchange and return on the A3 to the A1.
