Napoleon Gold shares with us how his album, “Sunset Motel,” was inspired by his creation through insomnia. It’s the imaginary place where he took refuge during those times and essentially, the heart of the album. It’s a compilation of a night spent at the Sunset Motel.

As a producer, composer, and also curator, the album’s eclectic mix of artists, in collaboration with the American Label Cinematic Music Group, integrated into his electronic, hip-hop, and RnB inspired tracks created the universe of the album, which took a year and a half to make.

He’s also recently released a video with singer, Anna Majidson, where he rearranged the album to be performed live by a string quartet, in praise of folly, and Niels Engel on drums for the Echterlive festival.
