Discover Luxembourg on a budget with our extensive list of Youth Hostels across the country!

A hot summer day in July 2015: We were celebrating the 1st birthday of our second child. Back then, like many families, I was unaware of the incredible array of children and family activities and experiences available in and around Luxembourg. I had no clue about the best places to celebrate kids' birthdays, the coolest playgrounds, family-friendly hotels, restaurants, and so much more.

Luckily, a friend of mine mentioned that the Luxembourg City Youth Hostel organizes birthday parties for kids. At first, it sounded strange to me. A youth hostel? In my mind, a youth hostel was something completely different, and I never would have imagined it as a venue for a children's birthday celebration.

I was wrong…totally wrong..The birthday party at the Luxembourg City Youth Hostel turned out to be an absolute hit. The outdoor area was filled with delightful attractions, including slides and a bouncing castle. The tables were beautifully set, offering a menu of delicious food for both the adults and kids. All our friends who joined us had a wonderful time, and the prices were incredibly reasonable for the quality of the experience. A lot of years have passed since 2015 and the Youth Hostels in Luxembourg have re-invented themselves, developing a fantastic variety of activities that guests can enjoy while staying at a youth hostel. Furthermore, they have taken kids' birthday parties to new heights, crafting unforgettable experiences for the little ones.

So let’s meet them one by one :
