1. Visit the Belval blast furnace by night!
What: Night-visit of the Belval industrial plant
Where: Esch-Belval - Google Maps
When: Saturday, 21 October- 6pm until 11.45 pm - free entrance
This Saturday you will be able to visit the former industrial plan in Belval in a new and exciting way. Grab a map and a headlamp and visit the old furnaces by night.
From 6 pm until almost midnight the plant will be accessible free of charge with music accompanying you through your visit.

2. Buy a new coat

On Mantelsonndeg, Luxembourgers would traditionally go to Luxembourg city to buy a new coat ahead of All Soul's Day, to ensure they would be appropriately attired when visiting the graves of loved ones.
Nowadays many stores and shopping centres throughout the country open their doors on Sunday and offer great deals on winter clothes. It is the opportunity for shopping enthusiast to treat themselves to a new coat!

3. Throwback to the 90's

This Friday, den Atelier will throw another of their iconic throwback parties. If you are in the mood for 90’s club bangers or cheesy boy-band songs, it is the evening for you. If the 90’s nostalgia is strong in you right now, you can buy tickets on the atelier website. The entrance fee is €21.90 and doors will open at 10pm. But 2000’s kids beware this is a 21+ event!

4. Watch a movie in Imax

The Imax technology has finally landed in the Grand-Duchy. You will be able to watch three movies in Imax at Kinepolis Kirchberg. You can either join the swifties and enjoy Taylor Swift’s concert movie, the newest offering from the MCU: The Marvels, or watch Martin Scorsese’s brand-new movie "Killers of the Flower Moon", in this improved technology.

5. Enjoy a bavarian dinner

Oktoberfest season in Luxembourg continues! On Friday and Saturday ChouChou and Kessel offer you an all-around Oktoberfest experience. For €45 you can choose one out of four typical Bavarian food options, then you also get half a litre of beer and a shot at the end. This dinner will be accompanied by typical Bavarian music.
6. Visit the Kockelscheuer ice rink

Since we went from summer to winter in less than a week, it could be the perfect opportunity to visit the Kockelscheuer ice rink this weekend. On Saturday from 6pm to 10.30pm the ice rink will transform into an ice disco with the help of three different DJ’s. The entrance fee is only €3 for children under 15, and you can also rent skating aids in the form of penguins and seals for that same price. Helmets and ice-skates are also available for rent on-site.

7. Discover new local rock & metal bands
What: New Blood Rising
Where: Rockbox - Rives de Clausen
When: Saturday, 21 October - €10 entrance - from 7.30 pm
Luxembourg has more musical diversity than one may think for such a small country. This event at the Rockbox in Clausen introduces you to four new Luxembourgish rock and metal bands: Trouble in Paradize, Sempervirent, Lyra and Fulvous. The entrance fee is just €5 if you are a registered student, and otherwise it is €10.
