Once a year, the city's museums welcome visitors for an evening of activity and exploration. The Home Stretch delves into what makes 2023 different.
On Saturday 14th October, seven museums across Luxembourg City will collectively open their doors for an evening of dance, music, workshops, DJ sets, special guided tours, and – new to this year – a variety of culinary surprises.
Melissa Dalton, host of The Home Stretch, welcomed Laura Zaccaria, the coordinator of ICOM (International Council of Museums), to discuss the evolution of the event and guide Today Radio listeners through workshops planned for children and adults on the night. The full interview is available on RTL Play or through the player below.

Now in its 22nd edition, Laura discusses Museum Night’s aim to “show the richness and the diversity of Luxembourg's cultural heritage” and its goal to attract a younger audience possibly unfamiliar with the wealth of options across these seven museums.
Museum Night/Nuit Des Musées takes place on Saturday from 17h00 until 01h00 in the morning, with free shuttles available to facilitate (the late-night nature of) the tours. You can listen to Laura and Melissa's conversation about the evening here:
