As the country heads to the polls on Sunday, RTL Today will be up all evening (and potentially into the night) until after final results roll in. Plan to see live ticker and radio commentary. 2. See films from Central and Eastern Europe

What: CinEast 2023 Film Festival

CinEast is your gateway to the best independent films from Central and Eastern Europe. Taking place every year in Luxembourg, the event combines film screenings with director and actor talks, musical performances, keynotes and workshops. Tickets can be found for individual nights (see schedule here) or the entire festival. The festival also provides an online cinema where movies can be rented for private screenings in your living room.

3. Discover sports at the Coque open day

The Coque sports & wellness centre is hosting its open day on Saturday, meaning all sports, fitness, wellness and gym areas are free of charge for the entire day. Partake in 30-minute aqua lessons, take a tour of the high-performance training centre, try an introduction to freediving or underwater rugby, or take your first steps on the climbing wall. The whole facility is sure to buzz with activities for the entire family.

4. Meet specialists at Home Expo

The Home Expo is dedicated to all things housing, construction, renovation, furnishing and decoration. More than 300 specialists from Luxembourg and the Greater Region are on hand to answer your questions and showcase their expertise at various stands. No matter the size of your plans or dreams, everything is possible.

5. Grab tickets to 5 Seconds Of Summer

Since forming in 2011, 5 Seconds of Summer - comprised of Luke Hemmings (vocals/guitar), Michael Clifford (vocals/guitar), Calum Hood (vocals/bass), and Ashton Irwin (vocals/drums) - have released four albums and numerous hit singles. They were quickly hailed as the “biggest new rock act in the world” by Rolling Stone, and are the only band in history to see their first three full-length studio albums enter the Billboard 200 at No. 1.

6. Visit children's music festival at Philharmonie

The Philharmonie's education department has created a weekend full of music and activities around the theme of the universe. An interstellar classic will be performed by a full symphony orchestra in the Grand Auditorium. Young and older visitors alike can also build sonic crafts in the Foyer. Discover the planets, the moon and the stars, right in the middle of Luxembourg.

7. Pickle and preserve in a special fermentation workshop

Do you want to learn how to ferment and preserve foods, keeping them edible for many years to come? In this practical workshop, participants will first harvest vegetables from a 2000-square-metre field before returning to the kitchen to preserve their pickings.
