3. Watch first national spikeball/roundnet competition

Roundnet Luxembourg is presenting its first national competition this Saturday. Roundnet, I hear you say? Also known as Spikeball, this sport is rather epic - watch this video here. The registration deadline has passed, but you can still watch amateurs and professionals in action. There's also cornhole, beer pong and music, so plenty of entertainment!

4. Try stand-up paddle yoga

Sarah and John, two popular yoga instructors in Luxembourg, are organising a stand-up paddle yoga session on the Upper Sure Lake. The workshop consists of a warm up on the board, exercises as well as focus on breathing. The session ends with an Indian Chai. More details in the link above, prior registration required.

5. See largest medieval castle festival

90 stands, fighting knights, lances on horses, singing troubadours, jugglers, acrobats and fire shows: The largest medieval castle festival of the Greater Region, Butschebuerger Buergfest, takes place this weekend.

6. See dance performances
