1. Hear DEADLETTER at Rotondes

Hailing from Yorkshire but now rooted in South London, DEADLETTER channel the droll fury of The Fall and the lopsided rhythms of LCD Soundsystem into their own gritty post-punk sound. For fans of Yard Act and The Lounge Society. Support is provided by local newcomers Trouble in Paradize, who received the Booker’s Choice Award from Rotondes at Screaming Fields.
2. Attend cheeky comedy night

Local comedy organisation Luxembourg Comedy has been hosting the The First Luxembourg Cringe Comedy Festival. Spread out across the next two months, each one of the four evenings has a different theme: This week's theme is ‘The Nasties’: For this one, the comedians have no limits, no political correctness and no self-respect. It will become sexy, perverse and dark, the description reads, adding: "Make sure you keep your mom home."

3. Learn about wild herbs

It's quite fascinating when you realise the amount of edible plants and herbs growing in the fields and forests of Luxembourg. But how do you know which ones can be used for dinner, and which others should rather be left untouched? How do you gather these herbs, and how can they be protected? 4. Watch Super Bowl on Sunday

The most watched event in US television history is back this Sunday! It's the Kansas City Chiefs vs Philadelphia Eagles live at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. From midnight onwards, the match is streamed in several sports bars, including Crossfire (The Nordic Bar), Schräinerei in Differdange and The Game at Kinepolis. All places are offering special, US-style snacks to mark this annual happening. Best to call ASAP and reserve your table! And then just stay for breakfast...
5. Watch 1986 Top Gun

We're all still feeling the adrenaline rush from Top Gun: Maverick, in cinemas a few months ago, but have you seen the original Top Gun film from 1986? Of course starring Tom Cruise, the best pilots of the country compete for the top spot. Whether you're seeing this one for the first time or if it's a classic to you, it's up on the big screen this Saturday.
6. Go clubbing at De Gudde Wëllen

After a successful first edition, De Gudde Wëllen Club Night is back this weekend for Volume II. There are three floors of carefully curated music featuring international DJS, dozens of crafted cocktails, lots of safe space to move and just get dancing. Each ticket holder can try a special cocktail. Space is very limited, so book them now.
7. Go backstage at the Philharmonie

If you've been to the Philharmonie, you may have seen some of the halls, the lounge area, the foyer, the wardrobes...sure, fair enough. But what about the backstage area, technical department and other parts of the building's architecture? This tour provides a glimpse into the areas of the concert venue usually closed to the public, as well as providing more insight into the Grand Auditorium, the Salle de Musique de Chambre, the Espace Découverte and the foyer. This tour is in English.
