Board games fit right into that cosiness! Head over to Rotondes this weekend to play board games, video games, pub quizzes and more. Saturday afternoon and Sunday are dedicated to family games, whereas Saturday evening promises some serious tournaments. Check out the programme here!

2. Explore Lux African Festival

Luxembourg's Afro-Caribbean cultures are coming together after a pandemic-induced delay to celebrate all things African heritage and identity. Discover food specialties, fashion, accessories, live music, kids entertainment and art at the Tramsschapp on Saturday and Sunday.


3. Hear talk on EU decision making

If you're intrigued by politics and Europe, and speak French, this weekend's talk at Cercle Cité might just be your thing. What are the problems with veto rights within the European Council? How can we reform decision-making processes to increase both efficiency and democratic legitimacy within the Union? EU judge François Biltgen, Marianne Dony (President of the Centre for European Law) and political adviser Lukáš Macek join the debate, followed by cocktails on the house.


4. Watch The Woman King

5. Visit plant fair in Hesperange

The L'Ambiance Jardins plant fair and flower garden in Hesperange is for all lovers of plants, flowers, trees and more. Stroll through the park and take in the autumn colours, as 70 exhibitors showcase their products. There are two yearly events, actually, with another in May, so this one is not to be missed. Tickets are €7, and all guests under 16 are free.


6. Say cheers to end of grape harvest season

To mark the end of the grape harvest season, the traditional 'Hunnefeier' is organised by Schengen. It's a cultural wine festival that attracts several thousand visitors each time, with a diverse entertainment programme, and of course plenty of wine from regional winegrowers. Something for your lazy Sunday afternoon?


7. Visit Open Day at 1535° Creative Hub

What: Showcasing the creative community

The 1535° Creative Hub in Differdange is a real hotspot for creative folk in Luxembourg. Music studios, photographers, architects, entrepreneurs...you can all find them here. Once a year they all open their doors, so you can chat to the artists, learn about what they do, and just generally feel this incredibly productive space. There are food trucks too!
