4. Donate instruments in support of Middle Eastern music schools

What: Boosting music education in difficult regions
Where:
Neimenster, 28 Rue Münster, 2160 Luxembourg
When:
Sunday, 3 October - more info here

The association for Just Peace in the Middle East is organising a collection of musical instruments for music schools supported by the Music Fund association in Bethlehem and Jenin in the West Bank. The idea is to give children in places where access to musical education is hampered the chance to make music. While music itself does not prevent conflict, it can help rebuild a society, the organisation says.

All private individuals or organisations can donate instruments this Sunday between 10.30am-5pm. String and wind instruments are preferred. Besides the collection there is also a concert programme, film screenings and presentations. This is set to be a very eye-opening and musical day.
