Prime Minister Xavier Bettel and deputy PM Dan Kersch joined the Grand Ducal family for the tree planting ceremony.

A ceremony to honour the birth of Prince Charles Jean Philippe Joseph Marie Guillaume de Luxembourg took place on Monday in the Pescatore Park in the capital.

Members of the government joined the royal family to plant a tree for the baby prince, who was born on 10 May 2020.

The ceremony took place shortly before 2pm, with attendees wearing masks and observing safe distances as dictated by the health crisis.
