Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton has revealed that one of Prince Louis' first words was cooked up thanks to her love for cooking.
According to Royal Correspondents the first word was "Mary." But the 19-month-old wasn't referring to Queen Mary, or even Mary, Queen of Scots.
Instead, it was thanks to British baking icon and former "Great British Baking Show" judge Mary Berry.
Louis is at eye level with Middleton's copies of Berry's cookbooks that she has on her kitchen shelves and, obviously Berry's face is all over the covers and he would say 'That's Mary Berry.'
Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, tells Mary about it when she appears on TV special A Berry Merry Christmas, which airs in the UK today.
Kate says: “One of Louis’ first words was ‘Mary’ because right at his height are all my cooking books in the kitchen bookshelf.
“And children are really fascinated by faces, and your face is all over your cooking books and he would say, ‘That’s Mary Berry’. So he would definitely recognise you if he saw you today.”
In the show, Mary, 84, join Kate and hubby Prince William, 37, on four visits to different UK charities.
It ends with a party hosted by the couple and with a menu designed by Mary for charity staff working to support others at Christmas.
