Royel Otis are bringing their all conquering indie pop sound to Rockhal on 5 December and RTL Today Radio is giving you the chance to be there.

The Australian duo have been on a remarkable rise since forming in Sydney in 2019, blending surf tinted nostalgia with angular pop energy to create a sound that feels both dreamy and immediate. Their debut album Pratts & Pain pushed them into global view and their follow up Hickey has only sharpened their momentum. After topping the U.S. Alternative charts and picking up multiple ARIA wins, the band’s Meet Me in the Car Tour is now rolling through Europe and Luxembourg is firmly on the map.

Their rise over the past two years has been nothing short of a whirlwind. After being named a Grammy Artist to Watch in 2024, their Like a Version take on Murder on the Dancefloor exploded online and shot to No. 1 on US Alternative Radio. Pratts and Pain debuted at the top of the ARIA charts and their cover of Linger became an unexpected global hit that pushed them into the Billboard Hot 100 and onto prime time US television.

By the time their second album Hickey arrived in 2025, they had played more than a hundred sold out shows across multiple continents, landed another chart topper with Moody and cemented themselves as one of the most talked about indie acts of the moment.

Expect shimmering guitars, hazy melodies and a live show that has earned the duo a reputation for being unpredictable in the best way. Support on the night comes from Pale Grey who should set the tone with their blend of indie and electronic sounds.
