Ethan Carey, frontman from the alt-metal band "SCÍAN" came by the studio to talk about their upcoming shows, and gave us an acoustic taste of what we can expect!
They say a knife is only as good as the one who wields it, well singer-songwriter Ethan Carey from the band "SCÍAN" (gaelic for "knife") proved to us that he knows how to wield his voice and a guitar!
This was the second time Ethan has dropped by the Sam Steen Show, this time with a live performance, which you can listen to via the player below. He is one of four members in the new "post rock" Irish band "SCÍAN" based in Luxembourg, which has a single that drops this evening called "Sign From God".
Thanks to the Rocklab initiative which supports young artists in Luxembourg, the band will also be performing at Screaming Fields at Rockhal, on July 9th. The concert will feature a variety of different artists and entry is free, with doors opening at 6pm.
If you're up for a not-so-mainstream-blend of heavy riffs, clean verses and magical sounds, then don't miss the opportunity to already see them on May 1st at Neumünster Abbey.
Ethan also hosts jam sessions every Thursday at Vantage Bar or you can also catch him busking around the city, giving street performances just like he always used to.
