RTL Today Radio's first-ever guest stopped by again to chat about an upcoming fundraiser at the Trifolion in Echternach.

Patricia Abdelnour joined Sam and Meredith on The Sam Steen Show to discuss the work 'Mir wëllen iech ons Heemecht weisen' does to help refugees and residents come together through culture.

'Mir wëllen iech ons Heemecht weisen' (Ons Heemecht for short ), which literally translates to " We want to show you our land" was started by local artists in response to the 2015 refugee wave.

Now a non-profit, Ons Heemecht brings local people and refugees together through cultural and artistic events to promote cultural dialogue.

All events are on a volunteer basis and include outings such as museum visits, theatre performances and even ice skating.

In addition to a calendar of cultural events Ons Heemecht is holding a fundraiser on 3 March at the Trifolion in Echternach. The evening will consist of dinner and a show, with three Luxembourgish artists headlining the performance.

Tickets to the full fundraiser event or just the performance are on sale now!
