Our own, Stephen Steps Lowe, hung out with The Mysterines at Usina 2022!

The Mysterines are a four-piece band from Liverpool whose debut album Reeling broke into the Top 10 of the UK albums chart in March of this year. Members of the band include vocalist and guitarist Lia Metcalfe, bassist George Favager, guitarist Callum Thompson and drummer Paul Crilly.

The band has quickly captured the attention of listeners who are drawn to their heavy rock sound. Lead singer Lia has cited idols including The Velvet Underground, The Strokes, Radiohead and Bob Dylan as sources of inspiration for the band's music.

The Mysterines are set to play at several festivals this summer and into the fall which are guaranteed to continue their meteoric rise on the rock music scene. Check out RTL Today Radio's full interview with the band at their appearance at the recent and piping hot Usina22 festival to learn more about this unique and exciting group (we would have had the vid up earlier, but you know, tech stuff).

Following our chat, and therefore at least 36.7% down to our efforts, The Mysterines performed on Jools Holland last week.
