The first edition of this Festival took place on 16 September 2017, at the Cultural Center Kulturfabrik of Esch-sur-Alzette (Luxembourg) - a storied location at the heart of the Greater Region and a breeding ground for transborder cultural, artistic and professional exchanges. Thanks to its history and its proximity to the urban center of Esch-sur-Alzette, the cultural center Kulturfabrik is an ideal place to promote the ideas of RootsTown, while respecting the Environmental charter promoted by the association.
