The acclaimed British director Mike Leigh, known for his gritty "kitchen sink realism" style, held a special masterclass at the Cinémathèque for the Luxembourg City Film Festival.

On Saturday 16 March, the "living legend of European social realism" spent an afternoon discussing his work with Michel Clement. The festival also screened four of his films: Peterloo (2018), Mr Turner (2014), Another Year (2010), and Naked (1993).
