Three years after the migration crisis of 2015, Frédérique Buck's film Grand H(umanity) examines the division between policy and humanity.
The film is based on 15 interviews with (real) human rights activists, committed citizens, and Minister of Foreign Affairs Jean Asselborn. The movie challenges the common asylum narrative by raising awareness of the dehumanisation that Buck argues is inherent to European asylum policies and governance.
The interviews are in English, French and Luxembourgish, and the movie has both English and French subtitles. It can be seen in Utopia until and including the 6th of November. More information through the link below.
