RTL and the centre for audiovisual content (CNA) have provided us with another glimpse into the past, this time focusing on one of the first ever beauty contests in the French Lorraine region.
This week's edition shows images from an old beauty contest and parade in France. In 1959, Liliane was elected the first brown-haired winner of the Miss Mirabelle contest. All ten previous editions were won by blonde women.
56 women participated in the 1959 edition of the contest.
