RTL and the centre for audiovisual content (CNA) have provided us with another glimpse into the past, this time focusing on an RTL Television report from the year 1966.

This week's edition shows images from the time French actor, comedian, and musician André Bourvil visited Dudelange. In April 1966, he made the trip to present his latest film Le Corniaud, before announcing that his next project with colleague Louis de Funès was already underway.

Little did he know at the time, but latter film, entitled La grande Vadrouille, was to become one of the most popular and highest-grossing productions in France of all-time, only to be surpassed by Titanic in 1998.
