RTL and the centre for audiovisual content (CNA) have provided us with another glimpse into the past, this time focusing on the first time that the supersonic passenger airliner touched down at Findel airport.

This week's edition shows images from 20 May 1982 when a Concorde landed in the Grand Duchy for the first time. The famous jet quickly became the main attraction of the day. Only on two other occasions, in March 1985 and in May 1986, a Concorde made its way to Findel airport.

If you want to learn more about Findel's history, and take a look behind the scenes at the airport today, check out our combined Knowledge Bite article and PISA video on the subject right here!
