Neudorf Cultural Centre celebrated their 'Shadows Day & Night' festival on Saturday, with afternoon workshops for kids to introduce them to rock and metal!
Marketed as an "all ages" or family event by Neudorf Cultural Centre, the annual Shadows' Day & Night festival nurtures the rocker in people of all ages.
This year, afternoon workshops gave kids and teens the opportunity to learn more about rock and metal, by cultivating their stage performances and having fun with elaborate rock n' roll stage make-up. Later on Saturday night, the concert line-up delighted 'older rockers' with a mix of acts, covering an array of musical tastes.
Daydreamers, an acoustic-based duo performed music with a Rock, Indie, Pop-Rock, Pop and Alternative spin. Other performances were given by alternative pop-punk band Seekers. Jungle Juice made a welcome return after a long hiatus while Shadow Whispers provided some symphonic metal with a touch of gothic fiction. S.K.O.R. and Thousand Lakes completed the heavy metal line-up.
