RTL Today - At the border: Lorry up in flames on northbound A31

Traffic across the border to Luxembourg has been affected by a lorry catching fire.

The truck went up in flames at the French-Luxembourgish border on Wednesday afternoon, impacting northbound traffic from Thionville to Luxembourg. There have also been tailbacks in the opposite direction.

Upon inquiry, the authorities confirmed the northbound A31 had been closed near Kanfen. Traffic in the other direction is ongoing, but is subject to traffic jams.

Currently, there is no information on the state of the lorry driver.
